Privacy

Your browsing stays yours.

Veilprint is designed to keep fingerprint settings inside your browser. This website provides a settings interface; it does not receive your browsing activity.

Data available to the settings page

The settings page sends versioned requests directly to the installed Veilprint extension. The browser page can read settings, runtime state, a limited identity and region summary, module coverage, site exceptions, and sanitized diagnostics. These values are processed within the browser page. The extension does not return the identity seed, host baseline, public IP, provider source, raw provider response, token plaintext, or raw errors to the hosted page.

Website hosting

The Sites service receives only ordinary connection metadata needed to provide and protect this website, such as the connecting IP address, browser headers, timestamps, and requested paths. The settings page does not send the service page content, form data from other sites, browser history, or the sites you visit. The service may set cookies that are strictly necessary for security or session handling.

Settings and provider tokens

Preferences and an optional IP provider token are stored by the extension in your Chrome profile. The token is sent from this page directly to the extension and is not submitted to this website's server. The extension never returns the stored token to this page. When used, the token is sent only to ipinfo.io as part of a region lookup.

Region providers

When regional data is refreshed, the extension contacts reallyfreegeoip.org, ipwho.is, ipapi.co, or ipinfo.io directly. Those services receive the network IP address and standard request metadata needed to return approximate location data. Veilprint may also send approximate coordinates to the Overpass endpoints at overpass-api.de, overpass.kumi.systems, or maps.mail.ru to choose a residential point and to BigDataCloud to create a display address.

Third parties

This site contains no analytics, advertising pixels, or third-party browser scripts. Website hosting and the region providers above receive the data described here for delivery, security, and requested regional lookups.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

Veilprint uses data only to provide or improve its disclosed single purpose. It does not sell user data, use or transfer it for personalized advertising, or use or transfer it to determine creditworthiness or for lending. Data is not transferred except to the operational providers described above or as permitted by the Chrome Web Store Limited Use requirements. Humans do not read extension-held user data except where a Limited Use exception applies.

Scope

Veilprint normalizes supported browser signals. It does not claim to hide network-layer properties that Chrome extensions do not control.
